2012
MARSS started the development of MOBtronic in 2010. After countless prototypes, MOBtronic Version 1 was launched in 2012 and tested with an extended, 2-year pilot, full ship installation on an operating vessel. Lots of lessons learned and continuous improvements in the software and capabilities. -

2016
In 2016 we launched Version 2, which incorporates next generation radars (with higher accuracy and wider field of view), a more powerful processing unit, a completely new, more compact and lightweight mechanical design, a user interface refresh and new features. -

The next generation was characterised by a completely new design, an optimised dome to increase radar transparency and performance, the latest thermal infrared cameras, a second camera for visual confirmation of alarms and support for VMS (continuous recording of videos and sensor data). -

This generation incorporates a technology breakthrough: the introduction of Artificial Intelligence. Building on top of the solid foundations, sensor hardware has been updated to support AI processing, including; a new high–performance computing unit and higher resolution cameras
